In the 60s, Neil Armstrong, during his training in the Colombian jungle of Darién, meets a native, he exchanges some objects, then disappears among the forest. A terror invades Neil and forces him to flee to a safe place. Did he think he would be beheaded, skinned, and eaten by a wild cannibal? Was he afraid of not understanding the meaning of that exchange? Is this scene the restoration of a colonial ghost?

Welcome Interplanetary and Sidereal Space Conquerors intervenes archival images and found footage of the aerospace race, and tells, from the the perspective of the so-called third world, the story of humankind’s desire to conquer space and exposing his obsession to turn it into a colony while imagining it as an exotic paradise.

A visual voyage through the myths of scientific and technological observations of a scientist that cheated hundreds in 1835 about the inhabitants of the moon, A story of the constant invasions of the outer space and the training American Government held in the deep forest where Antonio Zarco an Embera Indigenous Leader tried to advise the the danger of human greedy impulses showing how this astronaut-indigenous duality updated colonial myths. It is a journey through the traces of the cold war in the jungle that is still growing like weeds over the the infrastructure of 500 years and more of ruthless looting.
